Gym Helper
A workout tracker for coaches and trainees.
Your coach posts the plan in your Telegram training group, you reply with what you did, and Gym Helper turns both into a workout history, personal records and progress charts, here on the site and in the iOS app.
Log inHow it works
1.The coach posts a plan
In the group chat, as usual: exercises, sets, reps and weights.
2.Trainees reply with what they did
A reply to the plan, written the way you already write it, like “50-60-70 kg × 15-12-10”. Or do the plan with the workout timer on the site or in the app, and the bot posts it as your reply.
3.The bot reads both
Our Telegram bot @gym_analyst_bot reads the plan and the replies and saves them as workouts. You can correct anything it got wrong.
4.Everyone sees the progress
Plans next to what each trainee did, workout history, records, badges and charts, on the site and in the iOS app.
Training on your own?
Log your workouts without Telegram, on the site or in the iOS app: start the timer, tick sets as you go and rest with a countdown that buzzes when it’s over — on the iPhone’s lock screen and on the Apple Watch too, with Set done right there — pause when you need to, or write them down afterwards. Records and progress work the same way, Apple Health gets each workout with its real time, and the app keeps workouts logged without a connection until it’s back.
For coaches
Post plans from the site or the app and reuse them as templates, see who kept up, comment on workouts, have a reminder sent at 20:00 to those who haven’t logged, and give one exercise one name so its charts and records stay together.
